We believe that good design should not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and durable. It is our goal and commitment to develop and preserve Danish design icons – and to make durable quality design that is widely accessible. We make designs that can be passed down through generations. We also see it as our responsibility to lead the way when it comes to developing and renewing Danish design traditions, so that our designs also play an important role for future generations. We strive to uncover and minimise our carbon footprint in all our activities. However, our footprint on the world is about much more than the materials we use, and so our commitment includes both responsible business conduct, environmental responsibility, and a value-creating workplace for our employees – both our own and everyone in our value chain. This approach to responsibility is one of the reasons why we strived to become B Corp certified. By having this certification, we as a company are part of the driving force behind positive social change. It also reflects our ambition to bring Danish design traditions into the future responsibly.

B Corp is considered one of the most rigorous certifications available and is a mark of a company’s social and environmental performance. The non-profit organisation B Lab carries out B Corp certification via an extensive holistic assessment of a company in accordance with B Corp’s standards.

B Corp is a global network of companies that strives to promote a more sustainable, responsible and ethical approach to business as a catalyst for positive change. B Corp certification means that a company can document that it meets and is committed to pursuing a number of high standards for social and environmental sustainability, social impact, transparency and responsible business practices – all with the aim of harmonising profit with a broader purpose, and, through transparent operations, helping consumers make informed choices.
