When Arne Jacobsen designed the Bankers Clock for the National Bank of Denmark in 1971, he also created a design icon for the home. This wall clock is available in four sizes, and its current design is faithful to the original drawings. With its diameter of 16 cm, this clock is the smallest in the range. The clock case supporting the concave glass front gives the clock an appearance of hovering on the wall. Bankers is a series of clocks for both the wall and the table. With its red signature detail in the middle, it is a beautiful example of Danish design and its many qualities. The Bankers clock was designed in 1971 by the famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen, who was one of the world’s leading modernists. It was originally created for Danmarks Nationalbank building as part of a project for which Jacobsen was total architect.
