When Arne Jacobsen designed the City Hall Clock for Rødovre Town Hall in 1956, he also created a design icon for the home. This wall clock is available in three sizes, and its current design is faithful to the original drawings. With its diameter of 29 cm, this clock is the largest in the range. The clock case supporting the concave glass front gives the clock an appearance of hovering on the wall. City Hall is a series of clocks for both the wall and the table. With its round glass form and simple hour display, it has become a national favourite here in Denmark. The City Hall clock was designed by the famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen and was originally created to hang at Rødovre Town Hall, where the clock was part of his total concept for the new town hall when it was built in 1956.
