The candleholder is made of shiny glazed ceramic with colourful decals, and is inspired by Bjørn Wiinblad’s original Eva universe, where wide heads with floral decorations and a cone-shaped body formed the foundations of the design. The face with the almond-shaped eyes and pointed nose is Wiinblad’s original line, while the colourful dress pattern is a new interpretation of Bjørn Wiinblad’s illustrations from the archives.

Bjørn Wiinblad created a myriad of women’s faces, which he used in his various designs. But he often returned to one specific female motif: Eva.
