Grand Cru Nouveau is a modern and stylish evolution of the iconic Grand Cru carafe and matching tumblers found in many homes around the world. A big part of Rosendahl’s DNA is not only to create timeless classics, but also to renew them so that they keep up with the time and world we live in. With the Rosendahl Grand Cru Nouveau series, Rosendahl has revitalised a classic, where the shape and the overall graphic design line with grooves and steel bands around the carafe’s neck are – almost – the same. The big difference is that both the carafe and the glasses in the Grand Cru Nouveau series are made in mouth-blown glass with repeating grooves on the surface, which create a wonderful play of light. The functionality is exactly the same as in the classic water glasses and water carafes – although perhaps the many grooves in the Grand Cru Nouveau provide an even better grip on the glass. And because they are mouth-blown, each glass has small unique variations. Overall, these are an elegant example of functional, stackable tumblers for modern living. The glass has the colour walnut, holds 260 ml and is dishwasher-safe up to 55 degrees.
