Design and inspiration

The birthday train brings Kay Bojesen’s original design language into the celebration with detailed carriages, small flags and fine symbols that bring the table to life without being overwhelming. It is festive in a calm way – full of imagination, yet simple enough to fit into many homes.

The combination of oak and smoked oak gives the train a natural, warm and timeless expression, while the playful details reflect the joy that Kay Bojesen’s figures are created to awaken. It is a design object with presence that can both mark the special day and remain as a charming part of the interior.
