The new XXL animals in Kay Bojesen Masterpieces are a monumental tribute to Kay Bojesen’s vibrant design and original stories in wood throughout the last 100 years. They are sculptures, works of art in wood – natural masterpieces. They are grown-up design classics in wood and demonstrate the very best in Danish wood design.

This year celebrates 100 years since Kay Bojesen started working in wood. And Kay Bojesen Monkey XXL and the other XXL animals in Kay Bojesen Masterpieces masterfully mark Kay Bojesen’s deep passion for craftsmanship and keen attention to detail. Monkey, Hippo and Elephant are the first animals to be launched as grown-up design classics in wood in the Kay Bojesen Masterpieces series. And you will immediately recognise the excellent craftsmanship, the living story and the always smiling lines – brought to life here in an extra large scale and executed to a level of perfection worthy of a true masterpiece.

The new Monkey XXL is a true copy of the original large Monkey produced in limba wood and FSC®-certified teak, which guarantees that the trees for production are planted, cultivated and felled responsibly.

HOW THE STORY BEGAN
