With Glorious, Tom Nybroe has designed a wine series for both daily enjoyment and the finest table settings. The elegant and beautiful expression combines the optical effects from previous times with a modern expression that at the same time lives up to the correct treatment of the wine in the glass. The wine carafe is designed to handle decanting and aeration gently and efficiently, so that the wine opens up quickly without being stressed in the process. The large opening easily and elegantly leads the wine down through the narrow neck of the carafe, which swirls the wine around in an ultra-thin layer over the interior of the carafe. The wine is thus aerated gently and beautifully all the way from the bottle to the bottom of the carafe. The design of the carafe ensures that the wine has a large surface to develop on while the inward arch at the bottom makes the carafe easy to hold so the wine can be poured lightly and elegantly with just one hand.

Glorious

Through Glorious, Tom Nybroe has designed an elegant wine series of red wine glasses, white wine glasses, and water glasses for both daily enjoyment and finer table settings, which give the optical effects of the past a modern look, while also providing the correct treatment of the wine in the glass. The large red wine glass provides ample space for the wine to develop and for you to enjoy every drop. The white wine glass allows the white wine to unfold perfectly – and is also suitable for red wines that do not necessarily need a larger surface to develop. The water glass is placed on a stem and completes the perfect table setting design – this glass is also very suitable as a smaller beer glass.

HOLMEGAARD'S HISTORY

FOUNDED BY A WOMAN WHO WAS AHEAD OF HER TIME

Holmegaard is a Danish design icon and one of the most recognised names in the Scandinavian tradition of craftsmanship. The long and proud tradition of glass production dates back to 1825, when Countess Henriette Danneskiold-Samsøe created an artistic and aesthetic design universe at the glassworks.
