Back in 1936, Jacob E. Bang was hired by Holmegaard as the first creative director. His mission was to create a brand that everyone could have on display in the home. He designed the Primula collection, a range of beautiful vases in a simple, sophisticated design, crafted from mouth-blown glass. Here is the Primula vase in clear, coloured glass. The colour is called smoke and gives the fluted vase added edginess. Together with cuttings or flowers, it forms the perfect combination for the dining table and complements modern homes to perfection. At 17.5 centimetres tall, the vase can stand alone as a centrepiece or together with other Primula vases from the collection.

The Primula range is a series of beautiful glass vases from Holmegaard in clear and coloured glass with a simple and sophisticated design of optical, mouth-blown glass, which gives them a very beautiful and unique character. The vases’ beautiful design with a ribbed pattern makes them especially beautiful on the dining table, and they fit perfectly into every home. The Primula vase is also excellent for displaying one flower alone or several flowers together, which would look incredibly beautiful in the clear glass vase, as the colours of the flowers can really come into their own.
In the range, originally designed by Holmegaard’s first Creative Director, Jacob E. Bang, you will also find the oval Primula vase, which was inspired by the original vase, but has been renewed and adapted to the shape of the current fashion. Together with branches or flowers, you get the perfect combination for a dinner table that fits perfectly into a modern home.
