The elegant bread basket in Kähler's Hammershøi series is made of olive-green, bio-based plastic, and has the same matt surface as the green thermos jug in the series. It has a functional slot, which can be used for the bread knife, so it is always right next to the buns or rolls when you need to cut them. The white cloth napkin that comes with it presents the bread in an appetising and delicate manner, and the characteristic grooves on the outside beautifully match the rest of the Hammershøi tableware. The bread basket was created by Hans-Christian Bauer, who has designed the entire Hammershøi series with great respect for Kähler's artistic cultural heritage, design history and tradition of craftsmanship.
