This elegant Hammershøi Poppy bowl is perfect for a stylish table setting, lending a creative, personal touch. The beautiful watercolour depictions of poppy flowers were hand painted by the designer Rikke Jacobsen and transferred to the porcelain. The tableware has no 'up and down', so you can vary the look of the table from one occasion to another. Feel free to mix the Poppy bowl with Hammershøi's classic white tableware or glass range to create an informal table with attention to detail. Hammershøi Poppy is also available as a dinner plate, lunch plate, cake plate, deep plate and mug. The Hammershøi Poppy tableware has a 2-year breakage warranty.

The Kähler story
A unique design adventure that began in 1839
The story of Kähler begins as early as 1839, when the Dutch potter Herman J. Kähler opened a small ceramics workshop in Næstved and crafted the first Kähler vase. This was the start of a unique design adventure that would one day resonate around the world. However, the ceramic adventure only truly began when his son, Herman A. Kähler, took over the famous workshop in 1875.
