Now the Hammershøi tableware have a new watercolour decoration, and we can enjoy the soft-boiled eggs of spring in Kählers Hammershøi Spring egg cup. The series' characteristic Hammershøi grooves characterize the series across colour, shape and material, and are used both for everyday life and for celebration. This spring, the egg cups are decorated with newly sprung branches, and fine spring flowers. The decoration is hand painted by Rikke Jacobsen and transferred to the porcelain. The Hammershøi series from Kähler is created by designer Hans-Christian Bauer, inspired by Kähler’s handmade design traditions and the original works of the Danish artist Svend Hammershøi created at Kähler’s workshop back in the early 20th century. The iconic grooves create an both authentic and modern expressions of the series. The egg cups are packed in a box of 2 egg cups.
