AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 18)
The time that we live in is characterised by an increasing interest in spirituality and energy, which is alsoexpressed in what we surround ourselves with in our homes. Many people explore how to use astrology intheir daily lives, and the interest in astrology, horoscopes, and the signs of the zodiac is increasing anddoesn’t seem to fade anytime soon. Especially the younger generation has embraced the spirituality trendas a part of exploring their identity, and in the quest for finding out who you are, astrology show the bestpath for you to take.
With the new Astro sculptures by Kähler, the Danish sculptress Malene Bjelke is inspired by the symbolism and ideas from past Kähler work related to sculptures and figurines. The result is 12 sculptures representing each sign of the zodiac; beautifully moving the historic Kähler design heritage into the modern world with a spiritual outlook.
Open to interpretation
Each sign has a descriptive word attached to it, which is linked to the design of the individual sculpture. In this way, words and sculpture meet each other – and the energy is added by the human viewer via a unique situation.
