Recycling

Recycled materials

Recycling and reduced use of new resources are at the forefront when we at Rosendahl Design Group work with circularity. We work with recycled materials within textiles, plastics, glass, and ceramics. To monitor the recycling processes, we work with Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certified materials where possible. Rosendahl Design Group is GRS certified, and you can therefore find the GRS logo on several of our products.

Always on the lookout

Not all materials are suitable for recycling, and some are more established than others. For example, we work with recycled plastic, as it is a material that can be recycled many times without losing quality.

But plastic is not just plastic, and not all types of plastic are equally easy to recycle. The same applies to different types of textiles. Glass can also be recycled, but it can change in character and therefore may not necessarily be used for the same type of products next time as the first time.

We are always looking for new recycling methods that make circular materials usable in our products. Therefore, you will see it in more and more of our products moving forward, as production methods evolve.

We preserve and develop Danish design icons so that both present and future products can be part of the brands that have helped create our Danish design culture.
