We work with recycled fibres in several of our textile products. For this, we use both recycled cotton and polyester made from PET bottles. In future collections, these materials will be more prevalent, and all of them will be GRS (Global Recycle Standard) certified. This is to ensure that the materials we use are documented from start to finish.
Always on the lookout
In addition to ongoing projects, we’re always on the lookout for new and exciting recycled materials.
Rosendahl.com and recycling
We are investigating different types of recycled plastic and, in the coming seasons, you will be able to find products made from this material in our collections. With the SS21 collection, we presented the first products made through a local Danish setup. These products were produced by CoPP (a CoPolymer consisting of PP mixed with PE), consisting of recycled plastic from Danish households. The plastic was collected, processed and manufactured in Denmark. It is a very local setup with minimal transport of materials and products. At the end of its shelf life, the product can once again be included in the same process, as the plastic is 100% recyclable. This local Danish setup of using recycled plastic during production is something we want to cultivate, including for new products in future collections.
