Holmegaard’s annual Christmas bell, heart and star made from mouth-blown glass have become a regular collector’s item in some homes. They have been created by Danish designer Ann-Sofi Romme, who also made the first Holmegaard Christmas bell with motif in 1993. And since then, the bell has turned into an entire collection of bells, hearts, stars and baubles in mouth-blown glass, which each year are given a beautiful new Christmas motif. The 2023 collection celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special motif that beautifully ties all the years together. Ann-Sofi Romme Annual Christmas Heart 2023 is 8 cm high, in mouth-blown glass and decorated with a Christmas wreath consisting of a poinsettia a holly, mistletoe and a Christmas tulip. The colours have been kept in a classic red and gold with a metallic finish, and the small red hearts bring extra cosiness to the season. The graphic decoration accommodates both Christmas traditions and the current colour trend, with matching red silk ribbons that make the decorations perfect for hanging on the tree, in the window or perhaps above the door for some mistletoe magic.

Ann-Sofi Romme
Ann-Sofi Romme’s Christmas collection in mouth-blown glass is part of the traditional Holmegaard Christmas series, and beautifully combines exclusive design with the traditional Christmas story. And every year at Christmas time, Ann-Sofi Romme adds to this history, which began with a Christmas bell for Holmegaard back in 1993. Over the years, her Christmas bell in particular has become an iconic Christmas collector’s item, and the series is expanded every year with new, beautiful glass designs that exude Christmas cosiness and style and reflect the Christmas story through mouth-blown glass.
