The Kähler grinder H 18.5 cm from the Hammershøi series is decorated with a porcelain knob with the historical decorative grooves, which is a significant element throughout the Hammershøi series. Not only does the grooves give the grinder a touch of history, they also allow the glaze to spread easily transparently across the ceramic surface, while making the grinder nice and easy to operate. The grinders are made of porcelain and oak. With the Hammershøi grinder from Kähler you have an elegant Scandinavian design for the table. You can use the grinder for salt or pepper. Combine with another grinder in white porcelain so you can tell the difference between your salt and pepper grinder. The unique, ceramic grinder mechanism is from CrushGrind, which is known for its high quality and for the degree of grinding can be easily adjusted, so you get the spices just the way you want them. There is a 25-year guarantee on the ceramic parts in the grinder.

The Kähler story
A unique design adventure that began in 1839
The story of Kähler begins as early as 1839, when the Dutch potter Herman J. Kähler opened a small ceramics workshop in Næstved and crafted the first Kähler vase. This was the start of a unique design adventure that would one day resonate around the world. However, the ceramic adventure only truly began when his son, Herman A. Kähler, took over the famous workshop in 1875.
