The Tura vase series is a new classic in Lyngby Porcelain, with elegant sizes and shapes and lots of edge and attitude that is guaranteed to create a modern and expressive style of décor. It is a collection that honors its past, and the new products combine classic shapes, architectural influences, and artisanal techniques. In the series, there are now two smaller vases in the sculptural and eye-catching expressions. The connection with the existing larger vases is clear. The 14.5 cm vase has a wide and soft expression focusing on the lower part of the vase , while 17 centimeters has an longer neck. The vases are made of white porcelain and have a transparent glaze that highlights the iconic grooves synonymous with Lyngby Porcelain. Lyngby Porcelain Tura new sizes are small vases with great personality. Design Philip Bro Ludvigsen

The story behind
Lyngby Porcelæn
The Danish porcelain manufacturer – Lyngby Porcelæn was founded in Kongens Lyngby in Denmark in 1936 with the aim of producing porcelain tableware, vases and other decorative art of high-quality craftsmanship.
Until the 1920s, ornamentation and decoration dominated designs. The focus was more on how the porcelain was decorated, rather than the shape of the porcelain. But this changed over time, strongly influenced by the functionalist Bauhaus movement in Germany, and soon form and functionality became the preferred focal point instead of decorative elements.
