The Flow glass series instantly livens up your table setting and reinvigorates your senses. Mouth-blown and elegant, the series is characterised by a discreet wave pattern at the bottom that spreads like rings in the water and adds an organic and dynamic feel to the sculptural glass design. The dark blue wine glass holds 35 cl and brings a vibrant and harmonious look to the table. It has the same shape as the tumbler in the series, but has been given a slight lift. The inspiration for the low wine glasses comes from Holmegaard’s archives, where in the good old days it was normal to use lower wine glasses. Today, the discreet little foot means that the wine glass in the Flow series works perfectly as a casual all-round glass for red wine, white wine, rosé, and anything with bubbles. The colour of the wine glass is most intense at the base where the grooves are, but has a transparent character – even where the tones are strongest. The new dark blue tumblers can be used alone or – perhaps even better– paired with the other colours in the glass series. Beautiful, high-quality glass from Holmegaard is designed for everyone, and made to be used – even for everyday dining.

HOLMEGAARD'S HISTORY

FOUNDED BY A WOMAN WHO WAS AHEAD OF HER TIME

Holmegaard is a Danish design icon and one of the most recognised names in the Scandinavian tradition of craftsmanship. The long and proud tradition of glass production dates back to 1825, when Countess Henriette Danneskiold-Samsøe created an artistic and aesthetic design universe at the glassworks.
