Inspired by an original Kay Bojesen train, this delightful birthday train is designed to be used as a decorative item for celebrating birthdays, but it also works perfectly as an ornament on the shelf, so you can enjoy Kay Bojesen’s original stories made of wood in your everyday life. The three carriages are decorated with a flag, colourful parcels, numbers, the little guardsman and a drum – all festive elements from Kay Bojesen’s creations. The Kay Bojesen Birthday Train comes with numbers from 0 to 9 (with 2 x number 1s), which, just like the flag, can be inserted into several holes in the carriages, allowing you to create the combination you like best. The Birthday Train is not a toy but intended to be used as decoration.

When the Kay Bojesen brand was founded back in 1932, it marked the start of a story about a craftsman with a great sense of humour and plenty of curiosity. Kay Bojesen created his animals and figures based on the philosophy that good design should be accessible to everyone, and over time Kay Bojesen has become synonymous with original Danish design.
