FSC®-certification

In an FSC forest, no more trees are cut down than the forest can reproduce through natural regeneration or replanting. At the same time, FSC is a guarantee that animals and plant life are protected and that the people who work in the forest are trained and receive proper safety equipment and wages.

What does it mean that the wood is FSC®-certified?

Rosendahl.com is FSC-certified and a member of FSC Denmark. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international non-profit labelling scheme for wood and paper. The FSC label is applied to products made of wood and paper, which you can buy with a clear conscience. In an FSC forest, no more trees are cut down than the forest can reproduce through natural regeneration or replanting. At the same time, FSC is a guarantee that animals and plant life are protected and that the people who work in the forest are trained and receive proper safety equipment and wages.

Rosendahl.com and FSC®

At Rosendahl.com, the majority of the wood products we sell are made from FSC-certified wood. Our goal is to phase out non-certified wood products, so that by the end of 2025 we will only offer wood products with FSC certification or made from upcycled wood to our customers. This goal also includes paper. At Rosendahl.com, we will only use FSC-certified paper for the production of paper products. All this to support responsible forestry. Rosendahl Design Group is also a member of the interest group FSC Denmark.
We are proud to be close to reaching our goal already. By 2024, 99% of wood products sold met this criterion.
